Life was meant for great adventures and close friends.

Updated: Aug 6, 2020

In the Summer of 2018, Me and my group of gal's decided to have a backpacking trip throughout Europe. With three of us being teachers, the time of the trip was set! We each picked a city that we really wanted to visit. The list is below.

After deciding all the places the next step was to plan how to travel between the cities.

So the first step is to get from NYC to Europe. I found a flight from JFK to Barcelona with a 2 day layover in Lisbon.

First two cities

Next, getting from Barcelona to Venice. We did find this option of a overnight bus to Venice with a day time layover in Paris, and then another overnight trip to Venice. As much as I would have loved to spend a day in Paris again, I was voted against on taking this trip. So we ended up deciding on flying from Barcelona to Venice through the Veuling Airline.

For the remaining cities, we bused it for the rest of the way.

We had an overnight bus from Venice to Budapest with a quick stop at Triste. (Man that was a fun lay over, More on that on the Venice Page!)

We then had a 3-4 hour bus ride from Budapest to Vienna.

Now please go check out the individual country pages to read about the activities that we did in each city! I hope you enjoy!!
